Please note: to be eligible for the scheme as an employer, your business must have been trading for at least two years.

Complete Employer Protection

This protection removes one of the biggest barriers to implementing an EV salary sacrifice scheme by ensuring zero financial risk for employers. Businesses are protected by uncapped, day-one cover for events including redundancies, dismissals and long-term sickness.

Employee Life Event Support

How it works for employees

This is a no upfront cost salary sacrifice scheme that can help employees save 20% to 50% on a new or used electric car, hybrid or subscription vehicle by paying from gross salary before tax. Employees also have access to a dedicated EV Specialist and Customer Care team throughout the order and driving journey, with a stated response SLA of four hours.

Contract options

Drivers can choose from 2, 3 and 4-year leases, as well as subscription options rolling from 12 months.

End of lease options

At the end of the agreement, drivers can renew, extend or hand the vehicle back. In some cases, there may also be an option to purchase the car.

Deliveries

With access to every EV available to the UK market, some cars can be delivered within as little as one week.

The Electric Car Scheme’s Charge Scheme is designed to be more flexible, allowing employees to salary sacrifice up to 50% of charging costs whether they charge at home, at work or on the public network.

Delivered through an app and an exclusive partnership with Plugsurfing, the scheme gives drivers access to more than 55,000 public chargers. Because it integrates into payroll systems, it can also be layered onto existing company fleets from other providers at no cost to the business.
